Fundamentals of Wiccan practises

It seems that as individualistic Witchcraft is, there are various practises that make it inherently Wiccan. Although Wicca seems a melange of myths and legends, I have been able to identify particular characteristics which seem to be shared across my various sources. The details differed but the concepts were similar. These were: the practise of white magick², nature centred religion, the existence of small groups called covens and the circle of protection.
